Challenge
Payroll calculations in Egypt combine social insurance and income tax rules that employees and HR teams usually work out in spreadsheets, where small formula errors are easy to make and hard to spot.
Context
Built by a founder with hands-on payroll experience, as a practical tool and as a demonstration of turning business rules into software.
Approach
We started from the rules and a reference spreadsheet, defined the calculation step by step, then checked the application's results against the source across a range of salary levels.
Solution
A fast, mobile-friendly web application that takes a salary and returns a transparent breakdown of the calculation.
Outcome
A live, public tool that makes a complicated calculation easy to understand and verify.
